Door Frames

Component Structures manufacture door frames per SABS 1129-1977 to any length, width, wall thickness or rebate size, made to order per clients requirements.

Door frames are made out of mild steel or pre galvanized steel 1,6mm to 3mm thick. An option of hot dip galvanizing door frames is also available.

Door frames are made for power float or screeded floor finishes and for lug or bolt fix wall finishes.

A choice of steel butt hinges, brass hinges, stainless steel hinges, continuous hinges or swing hinges are available for door frames.

Fire door frames are also manufactured per SABS 1253-2003. Requirements for fire door frames are minimum 1.6mm mild steel material, brass hinges to carry the weight of a fire door and a 50 by 25 rebate to meet the thickness of a fire door leaf and conceal the wooden edges on a fire door leaf.
